Your puppy has been selectively bred for excellent quality, health, soundness, intelligence and good temperament. This puppy is sold in good faith with no known health problems unless stated in this contract. The buyer has two (2) days after receipt of the puppy to have him/her examined by a licensed veterinarian. If your puppy is found to be seriously ill within this time period, you may request a full refund after receipt of written proof from a licensed veterinarian. The puppy will be returned to us at buyers expense. This must be done within three (3) days of vet exam. This health guarantee in all parts will be terminated immediately if puppy is not examined within the allotted time. We will not be responsible for contagious diseases like Giardia and Coccidia . Still, with all living things, situations happen that are out of our control as a puppy owner. We offer a 24 month from D.O.B. genetic health replacement guarantee to the original owner, if any genetic disabling abnormality is found within the puppy's first 24 months of life, such as: moderate to severe elbow or hip dysplasia, goes blind or has a life threatening heart defect. We reserve the right to have the sick puppy examined by our veterinarian. We will replace your puppy with the first available puppy of the same gender & size mini petite/ mini medium or reimburse your vet bills up to the purchase price (excluding shipping & $300.00 deposit) for hereditary life altering conditions. We are a small business, this reimbursement of your vet bills can take up to twelve (12) months. Written documentation (copies of all bills you have paid and all medical records) from your licensed veterinarian is required , also OFA & X-rays are needed to diagnose HD. Your puppy needs to stay on NuVetPlus Daily Supplement. You will need to order this within the first week of buying the puppy from us to keep the health guarantee intact.. The buyer agrees to provide the following: Heartworm & Flea interceptor, proper exercise, diet, shelter and general care; properly maintain adequate and humane environment and accommodations, regular veterinary care including checkups, regular worming, illness and injury treatments, age appropriate vaccinations as recommended by a qualified veterinarian, and any other medically related care needed by the puppy. You must provide your puppy with a safe suitable area, and he/she must live in your home environment. You must provide appropriate lifetime training and socialization of the dog, which significantly contributes to the ultimate temperament and reliability of the dog. Buyer agrees not to overwork or strain the puppy. Jumping up and down off of tailgates/ furniture, running up and down stairs and running long distances with your puppy in their growth stage (3 months to 18 months) is very harmful to their joints. We highly recommend that you keep your puppy on a high-quality puppy food, for at least the first 24 months, and make sure he/she gets moderate (not excessive) exercise. Some examples of this type of exercises are as follows: Swimming, walking less than a mile and supervised play with other dogs, this will allow proper bone and joint development. Puppies should under no circumstances be allowed to become overweight, or sit in a crate all day. We do not guarantee color, temperament, coat, levels of shedding, bite ( under/over) or size of puppy. Umbilical hernias are easy to repair during spay/neuter surgery, and as such no discount will be given if your puppy has an umbilical hernia. We require that you have your puppy spayed/neutered within six (6) months of their birth date. Failure to do so or to provide documentation at our request, will void the health guarantee and could result in legal proceedings. Deviations from this contract can and may be pursued by us through our attorney as a breech of contract. If there is ever a dispute between Seller and Buyer all suits will be handled in the state of Alabama in Jefferson County. "Never" take one of our dogs to a shelter, do not resale to any pet stores or puppy mills. We will gladly take back any of our puppies at any time if you can no longer care for it (at any age). We request you contact us before you re-home or resale one of our puppies.
